John Perry Academy is a year round school and is an invitation-only program for highly gifted young pianists. Applicant is eligible to make self-recommendation however the applicant needs to be approved by both John and Mina Perry at two stages of auditions and periodic examinations.    

 

The purpose of the JPA program is to cultivate in each student the requisite tools for successful performance with a focus on the development of each person's innate musical personality.  Students are expected to learn and absorb a substantial amount of repertoire each year and perform this repertoire in public performance.
